    Snake Count for Fantasy Football

I've solved this, but I love seeing other people's ideas, especially when I have a feeling there is a cleaner solution. The problem at hand is to have a cell (MaxNum in my formula) that is on row 1 of a column. Starting at row 2 of that column and going downwards, the equation should yield: 1, 2, 3, ..., MaxNum, MaxNum, MaxNum-1, ..., 2, 1, 1, 2, ....
This pattern would continue for as long as I drag the equation down the column.

This is used in a 'snake' draft in fantasy football to allow a person with the last pick in odd draft rounds to gain some advantage by being the first pick in all of the even draft rounds.

Here is what I came up with. Seems kludgy...

If that works, I don't think it is bad as it stands.

Different but not better, starting in A4 (where A3 = 2)

Thanks for responding guys. Glad I'm not missing some obvious function/trick.

ChemistB, I like how yours is independent of the row() and determines the upward/downward trend.
