This is my first post in this forum. I am in need of a formula which I have tried very hard to uncover but have been unsuccessful as of yet. Here are the requirements:
A B
1/8/2011 4
2/8/2011 2
3/8/2011 5
4/8/2011 3
5/8/2011 1
I need to sum from bottom up column B until a sum of 5, identify that row which sums a minimum of 5, and get the date in column A from that same row. The answer in the example above would be 3/8/2011

No better, Max. You would get some guidance if you read the forum rules.
Any ideas at all? Forgive the poor formatting of the example, column a are dates, and column b are simple numbers.
