what i'm trying to do is setup a spreadsheet for a game for refining of ore into minerals and i'm having an issue
=Refining!C5*(1000)+Refining!C6*(1000)+Refining!C7*(B5)+Refining!C7*(5%*(1000))
the issue i'm having is with this final part
+Refining!C7*(5%*(1000))
basically what I need it to do is calculate the base amount of ore + an additional 5% of ore for the type of ore it is
the way it comes out in the form is 2050.00 but it should be coming out as 3050.00
Have you tried "105%" instead of "5%"?
