Pasting values and keeping column widths

I am using the 2010 version of Excel. I have speadsheet the pulls values from various sheets. Once I have all the information correct, I would move it to other file for other people to look at. In 2007, I would copy and paste special values on a new sheet then click the drop down to keep column widths. On 2010 if I do that the formulas automatically come back. Is there any way around this? The way the sheet is setup there is a lot of formatting. Thanks.

After pasting values, I Paste Special> Column Widths. Not the most efficient way but it works.

Thats exactly how I use to do it in 2007 but when I do it in 2010 the formulas end up coming back once a click keep column widths. Any thing else I may be doing incorrectly? Thanks!
