Moving articles "the" and "a" (and foreign equivalents)

Hi all - just wondering, if I have a list of proper titles (for movies, or books) and I type them all out, the titles beginning with "the" will all be grouped together, as will the ones beginning with "a," and foreign articles such as "le" and "l'" and "el" and so forth.

Is there a way either to:

    a) implement the sorting function to ignore these articles

    or

    b) [perhaps with more difficulty] move the articles to the end of the field, separated with a comma? For example

    The Grapes of Wrath
    becomes
    Grapes of Wrath, The

Thanks in advance for any assistance! I have a list of over five thousand titles, and about 20-25% of them have "the" or "a" or "an" or something similar.

I'm also interested in this question. No answers, yet?
