Aligning product features into transactional columns

    Hey

Having trouble trying to aligning two lots of figures. I have one reference number thats featured in both results.

    It features this:

    Results A - product features
503 rows with 7 columns. This contains product features and a reference number.

    Results B - transactions
1666 rows with 2 columns, one is an amount and the other is the reference number that's also in Results A. There are numerous duplicates in this the same product has been purchased more than once.

I need to get the Results A figures to align into Results B so every transaction has the product features shown

I know this is a vague explanation but its the best I could do
    thanks!
    Matt

    Hi Matt,

It would be much better if you uploaded your workbook - or a representative sample, showing what result you expect to see after the alignment. These things are always easier if we can see your request in context.

you may need vlookup fucntion, however as mentioned by Richard, upload a sample work book for more specific solution.

Basically I've cut this down so its easier to understand.
Row F and I are the reference columns and I need row A-G to line up the corresponding H-J colums
    Thanks!
