Excel 2007 : Box Plots Has curved edges

I am facing this problem that when i plot the box plot it has curved edges as shown in the attached word file. Can anyone help me with this ?
how to fix this issue ?

Perhaps if you said how you had plotted it, and gave us a workbook rather than a Word doc, we might be able to assist.

This is not a box plot. It's a XY Scatter chart using the Smooth Lines chart type. Change the chart type to the Straight Line variety and the "box plots" will look much more familiar.

The chart is embedded and editable in the Word doc, but I assume you have the source in an Excel sheet somewhere?

In either case, I was able to change the chart type within the Word doc. Right-click the chart and select "Change Chart Type", then select the XY Scatter with straight lines.
