help - need to insert a value if a cell contains two pieces of alphanumeric data

I have a cell 'A1' that contains MX100116OCT. I would like to place a value of 349 in 'B1' IF 'A1' contains "MX1" AND "6OCT". Currently using =IF(ISNUMBER(FIND("MX100",A11865)),349,"") but I can't get the AND part to work. I am open to better solutions.
