    Moving cursor in unlocked cells

    Hi everyone
    Good morning!
Find an attached file. I have protected the sheet (no password). This is for a data entry. Only the blue colored cells are unlocked. I start enry from row 6. but after I enter data in row 13, its jumping to 16 skipping 14 & 15. I believe it is because I merged some cells in 12 & 13 rows. Is there any solution so that I can keep using enter key to move the cell down without missing any row??.
    Thanks
    Toms

    Hi,

Ensure the Excel Options Advanced 'Move After' box is ticked and set the direction to 'Down'

    Hi
My problem is not "move after - down". Its moving down on enter. The problem is that it skipping two cells (c14 & c15) while entering.
    pls check the attachment.
    Thanks

    Hi,

Yes, I did. And I found the same behaviour as you have, i.e. skipping the two cells - until I ticked the 'Move after Entry' setting which immediately solved the problem. Have you checked it?

    Regards

Yes, my setting is "After pressing Enter, move selection" is checked and the direction is set to Down.
But still it is skipping the two cells. I think it is because C14:E14 merged. When i remove the merging, its working..
I will manage by unmerge those cells..
    Anyhow,thanks for your time

Strange when you push up and down it skips but using left and right it selects the box fine.
