How to set the date as x-axis in a chart

So I have a table with 719 data points (all units of time in hours, Column D). Each cooresponds to a date (column C)

    \1

I would like the cooresponding days to be visible in the x-axis. Essentially the days would bracket the group of data points. Like this example done in paint

    \1

    Is this possible? thanks

And ideally I would like the x-axis date-lines to run verticles to the top of the chart
