Can't see which cells are being selected for non-adjacent paste

    Hi there,
Often I copy a formula to other cells. If copying only to cells that are adjacent to one another I see a bit of a 'box' around them so its easy to see which ones I'll paste into.

If I want to paste into non-adjacent cells however, there is nothing ...no boxes no shading except in the row numbers out at the left edge of the sheet. Earlier versions left no doubt about which cells were being selected. I looked in the preferences and couldn't see anything on this.

    Advice appreciated. Thanks.

Try using the name box to the left of the formula bar and enter the cells you want to select separated by commas (no spaces!) like this: A1,C5,D7
