Read & Write Mp3 File Tag Properties Using Excel

    Hello,

I need a macro which will Read & Write MP3 tags.

    Macro which will....

    1. Browse MP3 files or folders (with subfolders) & Read the tags from it & copy it in to excel.

    2. Write the edited tags from the excel to the selected MP3 files or folders.

Would be nice of you to post the macro in a excel file as a attachment.

    Thanks in advance,
    vivekhalder

That's a pretty specialized need. Do a Google search on "Excel VBA MP3 tags" and you'll get lots of ready-to-try links.

    Good evening vivekhalder

John Walkenbach has a file available for download that does what you ask, apart from (I think) the writing of data into the MP3 tags. His code is unprotected so you can examine / amend it as you wish.

    The narrative is here.
You can download the workbook from here.

    Hello John

Thanks for the link of the excel. But this only reads the mp3 tags.

Found a read & write macro but could not get how to amend that so would request to create a excel based on below macros.
