Excel 2007 : Extract Specific Date using Macro

Hi there,

I would like to know how can i extract a specific date from a whole column with dates using macro.

Let say if I want to grab 5-Oct from ColA, where ColA has 1-Oct all the way to 31-Oct. When the macro grab 5-Oct, it will return a value of 1 in a specific cell. However please take note that I would like to use a text box to do this. The text box will contain 5-Oct and when macro see it, it will then extract that date.
