Like the title says, Excel hyperlinks to Excel files wont work.
I looked at my trust settings and don't see why they just hang and do nothing.

Can you elaborate with specific details and full examples of these links?

Its a basic hyperlink to an excel file on our server. I have set trust rights to the server but that did nothing.
The link is created and when you click on it it does nothing, you just get the animated torus icon as if something is going to happen. Please Login or Register to view this content.
Do you get any better behavior using the HYPERLINK() formula instead of imbedded hyperlinks?
Do you get any better behavior when you switch to the UNC network path?
\\servername\CMM Data\FAI Files\20D208701 20-1 FAI-In Process.xls
Formula: No change (had already found that to try).
UNC: No change
Thank you.
PDF and image (jpg) files work properly.
I can use the Formula or UNC methods, strip the file name off and open the folder location.
Add a Excel file name and its no go.
File naming convention doesnt seem to matter, IE, xlsx or xls.
