Logical Formula

Hi. I am trying to create a logical formula that returns "yes" or "no" for the following situation:

Available Date in Service Date Returned
No 1/2/2009
Yes 1/2/2009 2/3/10
Yes

So if the item has not been returned it is not available; if it has been returned it is available, and if it hasn't been put in service or returned it is available.
The formula I had been trying to use was:
=IF((ISNUMBER(H2)),"yes","no")
But that won't work for each situation.
Any formula ideas?

Does this work?

=IF(OR(B2="",C2>0),"Yes","No")

where B2 is first cell in Date in Service column and C2 is first cell in Date Returned column.
