    building a pivot table to see total cost

    Im building a pivot table based off of the total cost in the inventory worksheet by vendor but my pivot table is producing odd results. is it put together right and if not what should i change?

    As far as I can tell your pivot table is returning the right results. The total cost for Vendor 1 oon the <Inventory> worksheet is $30.14, which is the exact total for vendor 1 in the pivot table. Can you be more specific about which data you think is "odd"?
