Excel 2008 : Pivot table display

I'm doing a pivot table of sales of grocery store items such as apples, bananas, carrots, etc. There are 45 commodity groups and I'm summing total sales by commodity group. The problem is that only a portion of the groups are displaying when I put the Group category in the layout. When I put the Group category in the drop down menu category where I can select the totals by only one commodity group the menu shows that all the commodities are there. I need the entire list of numbers though.
