    Hi tone640,

When I copy and paste to a new workbook, the column widths are the same as the original.

I can't reproduce your problem. What am I missing?

When I use sheet1.copy in a macro, or the equivalent:

Right click and choose 'move or copy...', then select 'New book' from 'move selected sheets; To book:' and check 'Create a copy'.
