    Question Expiry Date Indicator

    Hi All,

For days I'm trying to create cells that indicates the start and the expiry date.

The Start Date and the End Date is located in Sheet1 while the formula reflects it on other Sheets.

Now the tricky part is: I need the indicated cells to be also available for data entries which stops me from entering any formula within cells.

Attached an end result sample in case my description is not clear.

Appreciate any ideas - Thank you

Your problem is still not clear. Maybe you can try explaining again keeping in mind the attached file?

    Re: Expiry Date Indicator

Sheet1 contains Start Date and End Date.
Sheet2, Sheet3 represents individual months in which cells representing days of each month.

Changing the Start Date and the End Date in Sheet1 reflects a color on Sheet2 and Sheet3.
The cells that indicates the Start Date and End on Sheet1 or Sheet2 needs to be blank for other manual data entries.

the other sheets could be used in the conditional formating through defining the name through formula tab
