    calculating percentage of loss

    Im tring to calculate the percentage of stock loss.
    In Cell A1 i have $50,000
    In Cell A2 i have $5,000 loss leaving me $45,000
    In Cell A3 i want to know the percent i have lost.

    Any help?

    =(A2/A1)*100 formatted as percentage.

    Go to the first post
    Click edit
    Click Go Advanced
    Just below the word Title you will see a dropdown with the word No prefix.
    Change to Solved
    Click Save
