    Multiple Instances to Single Instance

I want to delete all multiple instances of a row in a spreadsheet so that there is only a single instance. So attached is a sample spreadsheet I made for an example

If you see there are multiple rows that say Google, Yahoo, Gmail, Facebook, MSN, Bing, and Ebay. The ID isn't important, but the URL, Title, and Area are. What I want to do is delete all the additional instances and only keep one instance of the entire row. I.e. there are 5 rows releated to Gmail in the attached spreadsheet, I only want to keep one.

Is there a code that will allow me to accomplish this?

I have a 12,000 row spreadsheet to do this in so help would be soo much appreciated!

With XL2007 there is a Remove Duplicates feature found in the Data tab. You can remove duplicate rows based on a single column of values...

Try that and see if it does the job.

Preselect the whole range and go to Data|Remove Duplicates and follow the wizard.
Where there is a will there are many ways.
