    How to convert (calculated) zero to blank cell in column

    I am not good in excel.

    Can some one please help me to convert (calculated) zero to blank cell in a column? The calculated means zero is not typed in but is calculated from other cells by using formula.

    Due to this calculated zero, most of the replies from all experts does not seem to be working. It was my fault as i did not make it clear in the beginning.

    I have attached the sample spreadsheet.

    Appreciate your help.

    thanks.

    Note to experts - Please try to reply again. Thank you.

    Format all the cells as Number:Custom with Type: 0;-0;;@

    Re: How to convert zero to blank cell in column

    You could try Custom Formatting

    Select your range C5:C13 Then Format > Format cells ... Then with the "Number" Tab > Custom
    Type:=

    This will return the integer part of the number only, and a blank if the value is 0 (zero)
    If you need decimal numbers then, this will return one decimal

    And so this will return two decimal figures, etc ...

    This way the underlying figure will remain unchanged for further calculations.

    Another option is in Excel Options > Advanced > "Display options for this sheet"
    Uncheck "Show zero in cells that have zero value"
