I am completely a novice in excel, so excuse my naivety. I am keen to learn how to create this Spreadsheet, database, but need some guidance and some ideas of what topics I need to research.
I don’t expect anyone to just make this for me because I am interested in learning how to. However if something like this exists then I wouldn’t want to waste time.
I am trying to build something that will be used amongst various people. We have an intranet where everyone can access the “one” document” and then upload it online.
Therefore I want to build a Spreadsheet? Where the following requirements are needed:
• 1 page for input (1 Sheet?)
• 1 page for viewing (1 Sheet?)
• On the input page, all I need is name and availability for a certain date.
o I.e. I can play football this Monday, not next Monday, but yes for the following Monday (Similar to a calendar?).
o We all play on Mondays so this can be a predetermined with a drop down?
• The Viewing sheet shows everyone availability and the total number of people who have said yes for that session.
I kind of know this can be done, just need some ideas on how. I am not worried about security, so I trust the people to use this to input their own name and availability, but also allows a friend to do so.
