Image in the background

Hi

Is it possible to insert an image on a certain section of the excel sheet, make it a background so that you can still be able to see what'e entered in the cells.

Try this to add background in certain section
1. Go to insert tab and then insert chart
2. Do right click on chart -- go to format chart area
3. Go to fill option and then select picture or texture fill
4. Now click on file option and insert your image as chart background.
5. Now go to transparency and set the transparency ratio as per your requirement
This should definitely work for your requirement.

I am assuiming that when i go to insert chart i just hit finish without choosing anything else which would give me a blank chart.

After doing that I have inserted the picture. Now I have a rectangle with the picture on it. Sorry, but the only transparency option that I can see are in the gradient section of fill effects in format chart area but they cant be used . Can you please help me with that.
