I need to create a vlookup the takes a value from one table and determines if that value is present in another table. Rather than return the contents of a cell I want it to simply report True if a match exists and False if it does not exist. Perhaps this is not a vlookup please help
Try:
=ISNUMBER(MATCH(A2,$B$1:$B$100,0))
where A2 is item to be found in table B1:B100
Adjust as necessary.
