    Creating a Revenue Projection Graph

I know this is easy to do, but somehow I've forgotten how to...

Basically, I'm trying to show revenue projections for a business plan. I want to show how much revenue will come from "gyms" and how much will come from "hotels".

I wanted to do a double bar graph, where hotels and gyms would be right next to each other, and do it over 3 years.

Right now I have "Years" in A1, with 1, 2, 3, in A2, A3, A4, and Revenue in B1, with the revenues below. Clearly this isn't working though.

I want Years to be the x-axis and Revenue to be the Y-axis.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Zach

    p.s. I feel like such a noob.

Re: Creating a Revenue Projection Graph

    Hello,

I assume that the problem is that "years" shows as a data series. Is that right? When the data you want to show on the X axis labels consists of numbers, Excel will treat it like a data series.

Remove the text in A1, so it is empty, then insert the chart. Now the numbers in A2 and below will be the X axis categories and only the data in column B will be charted.

    cheers,
