Trying to do a lookup + Return of information

I spend a lot of time matching emails address from reports that I have run, with a fixed list of email addresses from another spread sheet.
Is there a way to use a macro to match the email addresses from the reports that I have run, with the fixed list of email addresses. Then return information that is in that row next to the email address in the fixed spread sheet.
Any help on how to do this would be greatly appreciated.
