Calculating Total Pay For Multiple Employees

    Hi,

I am updating an old paper based time keeping system, with an electronic system

I need to find a way for excel to calculate the total pay from 5 days worth of timesheets for 5 employees without having to do it manually. I have attached a sample sheet for your reference.

The actual number of employees to process using this method will be 280, working on 5 machines over 3 shifts, so the attached sheet is only for reference.

    Many Thanks

    Sue

I'm not completely clear on what you want.

Thank you for the sample worksheet, but how about giving a sample of what you expect and maybe where?

Re: Calculating Total Pay For Multiple Employees

    Hi,
    Thanks for your reply.

I have attached a new sheet with the desired results at the bottom.
In my job, it will not be possible to manually auto sum each of 5 days for 280 people, so I need excel to identify each employee by say payroll number, and calculate their pay.

Below the timesheet will be a list of employee payroll number, followed by name. I need the total pay next to each name

    Thanks

    Sue
