Hi there,

I have a spreadsheet (saved as xlsm) that uses a couple of user define functions(UDF). When I open the file excel requests if I want to enable macros. If I select ok, I then have to enter data for every cell that runs the UDF again. eg. I have a spreadsheet which asks the user for a start time and end time. Once I enable macros, I have to enter all the start/end times again for all the cells that rely on the UDF.....most annoying.

Secondly I have conditional formatting which colours a row based on a match in the last cell of the row. i.e. colour the row yellow if the last cell="yes". Once
I enable macros, the conditional formatting stops working.i.e. when I deleted the word YES before macros were enabled, the row colour disappears and equally, when I type the word YES, the row is filled with colour. However once macros are enabled, the row is coloured if the word YES appears, but no longer does the colour disappear if I remove the word YES.

Any suggestions?
