Font colour in cells in one column displaying red even though selecting black

One specific columns has all the font colours in each cell displaying as red, despite the font colour indicating it should be black. I looked online and found advice about unchecking my high contrast in the accessibility options - but it is already unselected.

When I go to format cells the font colour it shack shows that black should be selected.

    Please advice.

    Thanks!

Possibly it is from Conditional Formatting.
