    Auto Generate List of Names?

Sorry for the terrible title but I couldn't put into words exactly what I'm looking for. Basically I want to generate a list of names omitting the repeats. For example:

    \1

I would like column F to list the vendors in column A. Since there are multiple A I would only like it listed once. This will be used to track expenses and there will be several payments for the same vendor and I want the total.

    Try using a Pivot Table.

sorry for not reading your post properly -- if you highlight your venders in column A and go to Data / Filter / Advanced filter -- make sure your range is proper click in Copy to another location ---- in copy to put in F2 and put check in Unique records only
