    count if

    sir what i am trying to do is to sum the total of p a and ot individually with the help of a formulae of the individual candidates.throughout the month.please guide me with the help of the formulae a) b) c) are the candidates name
    p and a are working it seems but ot is not giving the right count.i cannot figure it out please help me

    You have a trailing space in Cell C16.

    Here is another option without having to use the extra cells below. Notice O1:Q1 hold the values p, ot, and a, but with using a custom format you can have the word "Total" appear.

    Also found another trailing space in B4. Problably a good idea to employ data validtion so the user can pick from a drop list and this ensures the same spelling every time.
