Adding Unrelated Data to a Pivot Table

Hi. I have a Pivot Table which shows the number of outstanding items by category. I would like to add a column to the Pivot Table which shows the KPI measurement for each category. Then I would like to graph this using combination bar/line graph. I cannot get the graph to recognise the column I am adding next to the Pivot Data. Thank you.

Hi, is the KPi measurment a manual formula toget the results from the pivot? if so you can add the formula to a pivot table, so you can add it to your chart.

What "interested" is trying to say is that you could use Calculated Field / Calculated Value which are part of the pivot itself.

    Hi,

Interested has given you one option. Another is just to add an extra field (column) to your data.

Thank you for all your replies.

In the end I have added another column of information to my source data.

For "Interested" the KPI was just a flat number across the board. Ie Actual Items Picked vs KPI of 10 per hour. I have seen previously where you could just add the extra column after refreshing the Pivot Table. I just couldn't make it work again.
