Angry COMMA separator gone in Formulas

    Hi.
The Comma does not appear anymore in my basic formula's like before. Due to this I can't even capture basic formula's.

Standard format as I was used to: SUM(number1,[number2],...])
    Current format: SUM(number1 [number2] ...)

Only if I press spacebar will the curser jump from number1 to number2, and the result of thwe formula is then Null!.

I do not know if this is only a setting on my machine, or is it Excel 2010?

Sounds like your keyboard is broken. Can you type commas elsewhere, like in Word?

    Hi. Thanks for the reply.
Yes, I can type comma's ...,,,,,,. No problem with that.
In the meantime, I have checked the same formula's on my home PC where I have used the same Windows 7 as well as the Office 2010 CD's to install. No problem there. I have then reloaded and re-activated my Office package on my Laptop from the CD... Still the same error.

What regional settings do you have set in Control Panel? It sounds as though you have a space entered as the list separator there.
    Good luck.
