    Opening a 2010 Excel file in 2003

Whenever I have to import a new excel file that is 2010, when I open the file all I get is jibberish. A couple months ago I installed the compatibility pack which helped me open that file but now I can't open the new files I have.

Is there a setting that I missing?

    Help please! Thanks!

The compiler works for me with no changes at all. Have you got Excel 2010?
    Hope that helps.

No, I have Excel 2003. I like it better than 2010. The only times I have issues is when I'm emailed an Excel 2010 worksheet. My 2003 won't open it properly.

The compiler should open them Ok.

Excel 2010 is a much better product in my opinion

I would try reinstalling the compatibility pack.

Also, unless you plan on staying with 2003 forever, you will have to get used to the new interface eventually, so you may as well bite the bullet if you have access to 2010. (if you only have 2007 then by all means stick with 2003!)
    Good luck.
