    Formatting part of a cell as italics

    I'd like to know if it's possible to enter text into a cell where only portions of the cell are italicized. I'm trying to enter text into a comments field on an Excel worksheet but would like to be able to emphasize a word from time to time.

    With a cell selected, press F2 to get the cursor in that cell. Select the word(s) you want to italicize and press Ctrl+I
