    Running Total of different accounts

    I am the secreatry/treasurer for a small local farmers market. I keep a checkbook register in excel, with a column that designates which account the transaction applies to. I would like to create a formula that automatically keeps this running total upto date for each account. Any help would be awesome.

    I have never used MS excel 2008 i am currently using ms excel 2007...
