Excel 2007 : checkbook register opening balance

    checkbook register opening balance

    How do I change the opening balance in the checkbook register? I don't want the imported data to dictate the opening balance so I can begin from a specific point in time. The checkbook register won't let me change this cell.

    pardon me. It was an error as it appeared that my posting didn't go through the first time. If you tell me how, I can pull down the duplicate.
