chart series data selection - automatic axis update

Hi all

I have a very, very basic understanding of excel and wondered if you can help.....
If I want to populate a 3d chart with some data, is it possible for the axis (and/or series data range) on the chart to automatically update depending on the range (numnber of columns and rows) of the data entered.

For example, the attached spreadsheet is used to plot some data points. In the case of example 1, I have entered only 10 columns by 10 rows of data and plotted on a 3d chart. In example 2 I have entered 50 columns by 50 rows of data and plotted on a 3d chart. Is it possible for the chart in example 1 too show only the 10cols by 10rows without manually updating the series data range? On my worksheet I use, I want to be able to enter 10 columns by 10 rows of data, or 20, or 30 or 41 etc but keep the same chart and have it automatically update? is this possible?

And does this make sense?!

Many thanks for the reply. I didn't want to use the hide function as it still means manually selecting the cells, unless you can auto hide with conditional formating? - i dont think you can.

On a single series graph, I have managed to use the 'offset' formula (=OFFSET('P4 Gen L1 Grid'!$H$6,0,0,1,COUNTA('P4 Gen L1 Grid'!$H$8:$BF$8))) in the name manager function to automate the axis update, but do you know if this is possible on 3-d charts or multiple series graphs? I have tried for serveral hours now!
