    90th Percentile

I have a two columns of values.

    Size Costs
    Big 5
    Big 10
    Small 20
    Big 12
    Small 15
    Small 15

I'm trying to find the 90th percentile of small in this list. The catch is, I can't sort this list by size. Any thoughts??

Hi SDHAKE, welcome to the forum.

    Do you mean:

    =SUMIF(A1:A10,"Small",B1:B10)*0.90

    or

    =AVERAGEIF(A1:A10,"Small",B1:B10)*0.90

    ?

    Welcome to the forum.

    =PERCENTILE(IF(A2:A7="small", B2:B7), 0.9), confirmed with Ctrl+Shift+Enter
