    Conditional formatting in Excel 2003

Somehow I never find the exact scenario for my problems. , so here it is:
If E2 contains a date, I want to color P2.
    Thank you!

Is there anything else that can be in E2? If only a date or text or blank, then use:

Select Formula Is and enter formula:

    =ISNUMBER(E2)
Where there is a will there are many ways.

Re: Conditional formatting in Excel 2003

I often need to use this action when I am referring to another cell. And no, it doesn't have anything else in it other than text, date , or a number. Thank you for the help!
