Updating summary sheet after pasting data into data sheets

    Hi,

I am enclosing a file to help explain whati am trying to do. I have a file where i have worksheets such as Dec 2011, Jan 2012, Feb 2012 ....etc. I also have a summary sheet which is referencing data from the individual sheets such as the Jan 2012, Feb 2012.

I am enclosing a test file.

My issue is i have to update this sheet each month and it is time consuming to keep updating the formulas each month. Is there a way to some how make this more easy to input. I would cut-n-paste the data for the new month say Jan 2012. Then i would want the summary worksheet to update automatically........i hope i made sense.

you could use INDIRECT formulas such as this:

    =INDIRECT("'"&TEXT(B1,"mmm yyyy")&"'!B2")
