    Repost: problem with mutiple summing....

    Hi all,

I have uploaded an example of what I am trying to sum.

I need to sum the data in F9:AZ32 for "Jude" but only where he is assigned to the projects "Baking Phase1 Wave2" and "Baking Phase 2" not the others.

Can someone please tell me how I construct a formula to do this.

password for the document is "resource"

    Many thanks.

    Shane.

I've looked at this and I really can't see what you're trying to do. If you only want to sum those two rows then the obvious answer is:

    =SUM(F27:AZ27)+SUM(F31:AZ31)

But if feels like you're expecting something a bit more than that. As Jude is assigned to more projects than the ones listed how are you selecting which projects to sum?

Re: Repost: problem with mutiple summing....

    Hi,

I only want to sum Jude for the specific projects "Baking Phase1 Wave2" and "Baking Phase 2" not the other projects. The answer should be 59. i.e. the sum of rows 27 and 31 for columns P through BK.

    I have tried: =SUMIFS('Team Load'!$H$10:$BN$455,'Team Load'!E:E,"Jude",'Team Load'!A:A,"Baking Phase 1 - NZ")+SUMIFS('Team Load'!$H$10:$BN$455,'Team Load'!E:E,"Jude",'Team Load'!A:A,"Baking Phase2")

    But that does not work.
