    From list to matrix.

    Hi all!

I am doing this project, for which I have received a large list of parts and their demand in a certain period.
Since the overview is very very bad, I'd like to change the list to a matrix form (with a row for a part, and a column per period).
I attached a small part of my data in the hope that you can help me. (i actually have about 800 parts and 123 periods)
When there is no demand I'd like the cell to contain a 0.
I have tried all kinds of formula constructions but i can't seem to get to work properly.

    Parts Demand Simple.xlsx

Hopefully you can understand what i want to achieve, and help me with it.

    Greets,
    Marcel

(I hope my title is clear, didn't know how to name this thread)

    Re: From list to matrix.

in G3 you can use =SUMIFS($B:$B,$A:$A,$F3,$C:$C,G$2) then fill across and down for the rest of your cells.
