    Smile How to Find Minimum Can Produce?

    Hi Friends,

    I need a clarification in the attached file, Please help me…

    One particular product “AAA” I have the demand of 10000#.

    In column A - Item details updated, column B – Particular item how many per getting used is been updated, Column C – Item level essential to fulfill product requirement is updated & Column E – Current Inventory is been updated.

    Now, I would like know with the available inventory, what is the bare minimum of Product - AAA I will be able to execute (This output I need in CELL “E15”)?

    Hi Dear,

    Thanks for your quick reply, I saw the file, the output came as 11#.

    Does it mean that outoff 10000# of my demand I will be able to make only 11# with available inventory?

    No, If we check manually min ~8000# boards we can produce, please give me an alternate way, which will give the output what I am exactly looking for...

    try this formula, confirmed with Ctrl+Shift+Enter

    =MIN(IFERROR(E4:E13/B4:B13,""))

    Is there any way to find out which are all the items falling shortage to produce remaining 2K?

    you could use conditional formating, as you already have in column C the required and in Column E how many you have, just set conditional formating to highlight when ever E < C
