    Dropdown List Help Needed

I've been looking all over and can't seem to find the solution.

I have a list on a second tab sheet that I'm using to fill a dropdown on the main tab sheet (pretty standard)
However, in the dropdown, I need to be able to see the other, adjacent, column that corresponds to the item being selected so that the user knows what it is that they are selecting.

    Any ideas?

When the drop down is open they should be able to see the column before no?

If you wanted to add that cell to the information then you can use concatenate()

You will need to create a combo box rather than using Data Validation:

    See here for details: http://blog.contextures.com/archives...cel-combo-box/
Where there is a will there are many ways.

Well, yes, the column before (left), and possibly the column to the right. Again, as an informational aid so the user understands the context of what they are selecting.
I only need the content of the cell in the middle column to be used to fill in the selection, when selected...
I tried a combo box, but that does not seem to work.
