Use cell content for chart source data

    Hi all,

Hopefully an easy one for someone

I have a worksheet with data linked via ODBC to MySQL, when I click "data refresh" it updates excel from the database and along with it all the charts (several of them) what I want to do is adjust the start row and sometimes the end row of all of my charts by just changing one/two values in cells

So my source data would look like this "=Sheet1!$I$StartRow:$I$EndRow" as I have several charts and each one is based on a different column from the connected data on sheet1 I want the column reference to be static.
    any idea anyone?

    Thanks

    Steve

    Hi, again all,

Am I asking for something that cannot be done or am I not explaining my problem correctly?

I can't get to grips with what you are trying to explain, maybe upload an example?
