Getting data moving from one spreadsheet to another

I use a maintenance program to generate reports in Excel daily. I update the status of each part manually now. Is there a way to get Excel to take a previous day's status and paste it directly onto the next day's report automatically? Due to how the report is formated in Excel, columns often have several data in them.

Attached is a sample of what one of the lines looks like. The status is at the far right end preceeded by a "o".

I have tried to google a solution to this, but I havent found anything remotely close. Thngs like merging, etc.

Like a "Get Yesterday's Status" macro function?

The macro would need to prompt you for Yesterday's report, open it, copy the data and close Yesterday's report. I do this all the time.
