    Conditional Formatting or Macro?

I have a spreadhseet with information in columns b-G The final column is Column H which is the "Completed" column. I would like to put an X in this culmn (when the project is complete). Each row will represnt a different project. When I put an X in the completed column for the specific row I would like all the data in that row to have a line through it. ie subscript. I have messed around with conditional formatting but I can't seem to quite get it to work. Does any one have any suggestions?

    Re: Conditional Formatting or Macro?

I have attached the spreadsheet. I have data in row 2. Basically I want to put an X in H2 and then have all the data in row 2 B-G formatted with strikethrough. I did a simple Macro (I don't have much experience with Macros) but it only applies to the row/coumn I recorded. I want to be able to put an X in culmn H and what ever row I am on will automatically apply the strikethrough format. I hope that makes sense.

    Thanks!

    Ηι

    Highlight area A2:H2.

In Conditional formatting rules, formula is.

    =$H2="X"

Type the format that you want and OK.
