    How to get only the Character in Alphanumeric Combination.

    Hi All,

    Iam new to excel. please give me solution for the below problem. I have a data

    Guru123
    Abhishek Mittal456
    Rajesh Bucha1
    Chethana HM356
    Cristy Kuriakose98
    JYOTI JODHANI23
    SOURAV HALDER43
    Ankush Gupta123456
    SHANKAR SARKAR789
    Sajith Sasidhar4567
    Mitrani Banerjee89
    MOHIT BAID1012
    SHANKAR SARKAR11412
    VARUN ANIRUDHAN4567
    NAVEEN KUMAR M G98163
    DEBORITA SAHA 12346
    SHANKAR SARKAR12366

    And also note that length of Character keeps variying .
    Example : I want the output like below :

    Abhishek Mittal
    Rajesh Bucha
    SHANKAR SARKAR

    Try:

    =LEFT(A1,MIN(FIND(0,SUBSTITUTE(A1,{1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9},0)&0))-1)

    where A1 contains first string to parse... copy down formula...
